Fashion Crack

Pin It
Today, while perusing around on my Pintrest,
 I discovered what I have coined as FASHION CRACK.
 A clothing website so fabulous {and reasonably priced} that I'm seriously giddy!
It's called Sabo Skirt, a website based out of Australia.
I haven't been this excited about a fashion discovery in quite awhile.
I love almost every piece and can't wait to make my first purchase!

Here are a few of my favorite looks thus far...

Things I'm Obsessing About

Pin It
I haven't found a lot of inspiration lately with fashion and beauty because...well...I've been just too fricking busy! But fashion, I believe, is truly a representation of who I am.
Fashion is my art, which is simply showcased on my body.
I get excited about discovering unique ideas which I can take and twist to be my own.
 Recently I've been back on my {pintrest} and have been finding an assortment of ideas that make me so excited and intrigued! Here are some ideas that are driving my creative juices crazy!

Best of The 2012 Met Gala

Pin It
What I would do to be able to attend The Met Gala...the breathtaking and over-the-top gowns makes me go a little fashion crazy! Here are my top picks for this year's 2012 Met Gala...

{all images compliments of {people style watch}
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley...dazzled in this striped dress by the line with a beaded collar {designer unknown}
Amber Heard donned her date {Zac Posen's} design in a gorgeous orchid-hued bustier gown

Ashley Greene...I always thought she was pretty, but wow does she look gorgeous in this custom-designed, Donna Karan Atelier snow-white gown with sequin beading.
Tom Brady & Gisele Bundchen...they always are one of the most fabulous looking couples at The Met Gala. Gisele is wearing a beaded Givenchy Haute Couture by Riccardo Tisci gown.
Jamie King...looked stunning in this ruffled red satin gown {designer unknown}
Jessica Pare...shines in a modern, golden cap-sleeve gown by L'Wren Scott gown

And my favorite look of the evening was Nina Dobrev who killed it in this Donna Karan Gown with Burnout-beaded detailing. Completely stunning.

Little White Blouse

Pin It I'm all about mixing and matching different articles of clothing to create entirely new outfits {makes me feel that I'm wearing new clothes even when I'm not!} One of my favorite staple item that I have in my closet are flowly blouses. They are easy yet stylish at the same time. So recently I challenged myself to pair the same simple white blouse with three completely different looks. Here's what I came up with! {And did I mention the blouse cost only 20 bucks??}

{Heartbreakers blouse, jeans, shoes. Express clutch and jewelry}

1. A great look for going out on the town or for dinner with friends! I'm absolutely loving bright jeans right now...they are so fun and brighten up any outfit!
{Heartbreakers blouse, shoes, jewelry. Francesca's Collections watch. Express jeans}

2. A great work outfit! These pants are a staple in my closet for work. Work might not always be the most fun, but it's always nice to dress up and feel good!

2. I think this would be great for a date night {even though Andrew hates these type of pants haha} They add an entirely different look to the simple white blouse!

I also attempted to do the sock bun that I posted about a while ago {here}. There's literally a sock in there...crazy huh?? What do you think??

Well there you have it friends...some fun fashion for this Tuesday evening! :)

Spot Me Out

Pin It
A couple weeks ago I came home with some fun new pants I got and was super pumped! Unfortunately Andrew felt differently. He calls them "grandma pants"...but I love them. So guess, what? I'm wearing them! I think it's always fun to mix up your wardrobe and take risks from time to time. {note: please ignore the messy background...we're in the middle of unpacking boxes.}

(heartbreakers: shoes, jacket, jewelry..forever 21: pants...gap:shirt)

Well there you have it! Some fun new fashion for the week! Happy Wednesday! :)

All About the Hair

Pin It
I'm all about mixing up my hair styles. I've notoriously gone from blonde to brunette nearly every year, but this is one of the longest I've kept my blonde color {I've added a lot more low lights over the past year to add some dimension though.} So instead of coloring or cutting my hair to mix things up...I've found some inspirations from {pintrest} to keep me from my hair boredom.

The Carrie Diaries

Pin It Anyone else as excited as I am for the Sex and the City prequel, The Carrie Diaries?? And it's airing on the network I work for nonetheless, {The CW!}

AnnaSophia Robb will play the young Carrie Bradshaw, which was famously played by Sarah Jessica Parker. I'm so excited for the series to air in May!

 What do you think about Carrie Bradshaw as an 18-year-old??

Looks I'm Loving

Pin It
With the weather getting nicer and nicer out, I'm craving going shopping more and more. I used to be a bit of a shopaholic...yup...it was a problem. But now that I'm older and more "responsible", I rarely go shopping, and when I do I don't buy much. Well, I'm getting the itch right now. So, instead of going out and spending money I shouldn't spend, I've been doing some internet window shopping to see what looks I'm loving {ahhh who am I kidding...I'll end up going to buy some of these looks} All these looks are taken from my {pintrest}.
1. White on White. I'm loving this look....and not really quite sure why. It's so clean and fresh and just yells springtime! I also love it because it's so versatile...you can pair it with anything. I'm definitely going to rock some white on white soon!

2. All things Maxi. By far my favorite look right now. I already own quite a few maxi skirts and dresses...but there's always room for more in my closet, right?? RIGHT! Maxi's are so effortless, yet very stylish. Love them. Enough said.

3. Mix and Match. The old rule of not mix and matching prints, patterns, and colors are over...and I love it. From floral prints to stripes...there are no rules to what you can and can't do anymore. Very excited to start mix and matching for spring!

4. Florals. I never used to be a fan of floral print until recently. It's so feminine and sweet, but it's also very bold. I'm really digging the floral on floral look as well {like the second photo from the left.} Bring on the girly look!

Okay, now I'm definitely going shopping {whoooops}! What are YOUR favorite looks right now? :)
