My blogging has taken a back seat to the chaos of these next couple of months. Both my best friend's are getting married back-to-back weekends {September 15th and September 22nd} so there's been a lot going on! Bridal showers, Bachelorette parties, a trip to Vegas and Miami, and then the big wedding day's when they both go from Miss to Mrs! It will be one incredible, joyous, and emotional journey!

Other than wedding plans, here's what I've been up to as of late {through photos of course..}

My brother, sister-in-law and my niece and nephew came to Minneapolis because my brother had a possible job opportunity. My niece, Isabella...isn't she to DIE for?? :)

Where Did the Weekend Go?

Per usual, this weekend flew by...

which is surprising, considering Andrew was gone for the second weekend in a row... {ugh}

but I was busy busy with sports, family, and friends! 

Here's what I've been up to.... :)

Friday night was softball. Unfortunately we lost...like...horribly. We've been undefeated until that game. I'm not sure what happened, but we failed...epically. Regardless, it was still a lot of fun! Afterwards, I went out with friends to a rooftop bar in downtown Minneapolis. We drank, danced, and laughed. It was a good time!

Then on Saturday, I went to the mall with my best friend to find her a dress for her Bridal Shower that's coming up next weekend! After that, I met up with my parents who were in town for my brother's 33rd birthday {Happy birthday bro...I love you!!!}

We took the girls for a walk {who were beyond excited their daddy was back!}

and are now watching the Olympics {while I blog of course}

It's FRIDAY!! 

It's been a long week and I couldn't be happier the weekend is here...

I've been lacking on here with updates on my life,

 so here's some photos of what I've been up to. :)

after doing the gel nails it unfortunately made my nails really weak and frail. they're finally starting to grow again. my latest self-mani.

my lucky mom got to go visit my brother and his family. she sent this ADORABLE photo of her and my niece, isabella. she is just to diiiiie for, isn't she??

andrew and i went out to dinner with his grandparents...but first grandma liz showed me her herb garden. yummy!

i've been on a serious health kick. fresh fruit, pita bread, hummus, asparagus, tofu, couscous, and fresh basil from andrew's grandma :)

bella also sleeps with her mouth open sometimes. such a weirdo.

Fifth Annual Pig Roast

Saturday was the 5th Annual Pig Roast.

What is that, you might ask?

Well...every year on (or around) the 4th of July,

we go out on our friend's yacht to what's known as "Big Island." 

It's basically one giant party...consisting of thousands of people on boats.

It's insane! Let's just leave it at that.

After the lake, we always head over to our friend's house...
This year it consisted of:

200-300 people.
Live band.
Private fireworks show.
And all you can eat and drink.

Needless to say, it was amazing.

Girl Crush

I officially have a new girl crush...

And her name is Kate Upton.

She became famous by her Sport's Illustrated cover last year...

and ever since then, she's been on fire!

I love her look and her curvaceous body. 

She just exudes hot and sexy.

It's nice to see someone who's not stick skinny on the front of the hottest magazines around.

After all, men don't like women who look like 12 year old boys {it's sad because us women feel we need to look like that just because that's the "standard" in society}

So women... embrace your boobies, your hips, and your booty. It's what makes you a WOMAN!
