My Best Friend is Married!!

What a month of immense happiness, joy, (happy) tears, and love.

My best friend since the age of five married the love of her life last Saturday.

It was incredibly emotional for me,

witnessing someone who's been my other half nearly my entire life,

go from Miss. to Mrs. 

I smiled a lot...

I laughed a lot....

and I cried a lot.....

There was so much love, so much joy, so much happiness...

What more could anyone ask for?

It was SUCH a beautiful and perfect day!

What a whirl-wind it has been! 

I just got back from Miami for yet another Bachelorette Party...

I feel like such a seasoned traveler at this point.

Vegas two weeks ago...

Miami this past weekend.

Whew...

But I survived!

Miami was a BLAST {obviously}

We stayed at an incredible place at the Fontainebleau Miami...

Got delicious free dinners and free VIP Bottle Service...

Amazing views, palm trees, the ocean...

I could go on and on!

Of course I had to do some more shopping for Miami. Whoops!

I absolutely LOVE the ocean. Even though I've never lived near one, it feels like 'home'. There's something so calming and peaceful about it...

We did some park time, grilling out, and a lot of cuddling on the couch.

Sin City {Bachelorette Edition}

I mentioned last week that I was heading to Vegas for my best friend's Bachelorette party over the weekend... {note: I have two best friend's getting married back to back weekends in September...and I'm the maid of honor in both...so don't be confused by how many bridal/bachelorette parties I seem to be attending! :)} 

I've been to Vegas one time before {last year for a good friend's Bachelorette party} but this year we tried to tackle TWO days and THREE nights. #fail {at least on my end} I made all but one night on Friday where I slept off a horrible hangover. It's Vegas though, right? 

shopping spree prior to Vegas. Whoops. I think it was well spent though, right? {maybe?}

We enjoyed a delicious dinner our first night we were there and then enjoyed some cocktails.

Other than making it through work today, I've been taking it quite easy...

Love Is In The Air

Love is truly in the air right now. And it's a beautiful thing. My best friend since the age of five got engaged last year and the wedding date is quickly approaching! I remember being little girls and dreaming about someday falling in love...getting engaged...and then becoming a wife.

And 20 years later, here we are only a few short months away from watching her put on her Cinderella white wedding dress and walk down the aisle and become a wife! Watching Samantha get married means more to me than just my best friend getting married. It'll be the ending of one chapter and the beginning of the next, where she'll now have her husband as her other half.

Throughout the majority of my life, we've been each other's missing piece to the puzzle, each other's sisters and soul mates... and it's almost as if the torch is being passed.{I'm getting very emotional right now...whew} I've always been very protective of Samantha, because of her beautiful and ever-loving heart that I've never wanted to do anything more than to make sure she was happy.

And she is...with the man she will marry September 22nd, 2012. And I'll be standing by her side as co-maid of honor, balling my eyes out on one of the happiest days of my life...
